Ryan Dean PhD Licensed Psychologist

About Me
My professional experience has included providing psychotherapy services to a diverse range of individuals, couples, families, and groups in a variety of settings, from college counseling and career assessment centers to community mental health and specialty clinics. I am a Licensed Psychologist who provides individual psychotherapy services for college students, young adults, and adults in my St. Paul private practice. I earned undergraduate degrees in Psychology and English at The Ohio State University, and hold both a Master's and Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Originally from Ohio, I have come to appreciate living in Minnesota and particularly enjoy being outdoors, often camping or hiking with my dog in tow.

One of my primary interests is working with people experiencing life transitions and those with uncertainties about making life changes. These transitions come in many forms such as exploring new career opportunities, questioning fulfillment in family roles and relationships, or gaining a better sense of self and identity. I believe everyone deserves to live a life filled with meaning and purpose, and, at times, we need some professional assistance with the challenges that get in our way.
Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
